We are all broken, faulty, and flawed in various ways, and (as believers in Jesus) we look to the Father for answers. In the 3rd chapter of the Book of Joshua, we read about the people of Israel entering into the Promised Land after 40 years of wandering in the desert. In that account, we are told that the Most High divided the waters of the Jordan River (like He did at the Red Sea) so that the people could cross over on dry ground. This time, however, the people had to first show their trust by stepping into the waters before the miracle would be activated.
This week we briefly summarize that account in order to ask the question: What's our Jordan River? And are we stepping into the water as commanded?
